My dr gave me some medicine to take for my acid reflux (What a painful reality check - isn't acid reflux something only middle aged people get? Ouch...), and it just has me wondering.
I get where the marketing people were going. I do. Combine two words into one sophisticated word conveying the positive outcome of taking this particular medicine. But I have to wonder - did ANYONE in these marketing meetings ever actually say the name out loud, even once?
My reflux medicine is called "Aciphex".
It just makes me go hmmmm....
