The Briefest of Updates

I'm going to try to keep this short, sweet, and to the point.

The Latvian court did NOT grant Inessa's family member visitation, but unfortunately it did give some family members access to her and as it translated from her foster mother, they "messed on her head". Inessa has been heartbroken and sad, and is seeing a psychologist to help her work through the emotional storm she has just been put through. This is such a good thing for her to try and tackle with someone, and we are praying for her to start some healing.

Our adoption plan is on hold right now as Inessa tried to deal with and resolve her feelings regarding her biological family. Believe it or not, Mark and I feel peace about the new unknown timetable as far as adoption goes, but our hearts are terribly heavy and burdened for what Inessa has been through recently.

Please keep this amazing, sweet, grieving child in your prayers. She has a beautiful spirit, and we pray God will protect and preserve that through all her hurt.
