Whoa. For a Minute There...

...I was the man in our relationship. Mark and I have both been busy lately (he with work and me with school starting, etc) and we haven't had much time at all to really sit down and talk to each other. (For those of you who are checking out this blog for the first time, please know I usually post about God, my family, thoughts on life, hopes, dreams, etc. This is not going to be one of those posts. About My Gram

Several months ago a reader (one of about three total) posted a question in the comment section regarding something I had written about my grandmother. In essence, the reader wanted to know specifically what made my relationship with my Grandma Ruth so special. While it may seem like I ignored the question, the truth is that I have been pondering it nearly non stop since it was asked. That my Gram was amazing and special is fact, but I began to analyze why. Was it her personality? Was it that she was the only living grandparent I had ever known? Was it that she was the first person to truly recognize the vastness of my awesomeness? Was it what she did?
